Raghav Bhatia
I was born in Delhi and moved to Dubai when I was six, so that's where I grew up. I studied economics at UBC and took a lot of comp sci, stats, and philosophy courses on the side too.
The last couple of years I've been interning in private equity. I'm currently in Toronto at Novacap on the industrials and diversified industries team, and before this I was at Tricor Pacific Capital, Turtle Holdings, Withrow Park, and Tera Partners. Watching ERP implementations cause real day-to-day pain for the operators using them, run six to twelve months long, blow tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars over budget, and still slip months past the original timeline is what got me obsessed with the problem.
Now I'm building Elixir with some of my closest friends. Before this I co-founded IdeaStack and ApplicationSimplified. Neither found product-market fit, and both are why I have any clue what to look for now.
